Erika Lafrennie is the founder of Cypher Strategies, where she analyzes how institutional and governance conditions shape strategic competition, constrain or enable action, and create opportunities for leverage.
She diagnoses why strategic objectives are succeeding, failing, or becoming vulnerable when decisive factors lie in institutional conditions that conventional geopolitical or risk analysis can miss. She is the creator of Governance Warfare, an original approach developed from this work.
Her career spans US national security analysis, private sector strategic advisory, and support to special operations and interagency efforts.
